Almost Labor Day, which will officially put campaign season into high gear.  It's a heck of a time to get selected for jury duty.  I'm Juror #9.  Huh. I always thought 9 was my lucky number.  I may need to rethink that.  As I mentioned on my Facebook page, I am learning a lot, and a couple of my fellow jurors are actually Ward 3 residents, so that gives us something to talk about --- since we're not able to discuss the case.  Not talking about what we've just heard is much harder than I thought it would be.

But regarding my campaign:  I attended the Alameda Point Collaborative Harvest Festival last week, passing out campaign literature and talking to a number of residents.  The kids provided entertainment for the event with a spririted drumming session.

I'm now officially endorsed by the Green Party,  former AC Transit Ward 3 Director Dolores Jaquez, and former AC Transit Ward 5 Director Joe Bischofberger.  I'm working on two more candidate questionnaires, and have meetings scheduled before and after my jury duty next week.

Happy Labor Day to you all, and watch for me and my team as we ramp up our precinct walking!
